DEBBY SPRANKLE
Debby Sprankle is the owner and master artist of Exhale… A Salon, which she established in Southern Pines, North Carolina, in 2009. With over 30 years of experience in the hair care and color industry, she specializes in multi-dimensional color and individualized cuts and is a certified Keune educator.

Getting started
To begin the Exhale Assistant Growth Program, you must be manually added to our private learning group. Please follow the instructions below based on your email provider.
Step 1: Requesting Access
To begin the Exhale Assistant Growth Program, you must be manually added to our private learning group. Please follow the instructions below based on your email provider.
If you have a Gmail address:
If you already use @gmail.com or a Google-managed workspace email:
- Submit your address: Send an email to anna@exhaleasalon.com with the subject line: "Growth Program Access - [Your Name]."
- Wait for confirmation: You will receive an automated email notification once you have been added to the group.
If you do NOT have a Gmail address:
You can use your current email (Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, etc.), but you must first link it to a Google Identity:
- Register your current email: Go to the Google Account Sign-up page.
- Select "Use my current email address instead": Do not create a new @gmail.com address; simply link your existing one.
- Verify & Submit: Once your account is verified by Google, send that email address to anna@exhaleasalon.com.
- Wait for confirmation: You will receive a notification once your access is granted.
Important Note for Stylists
If you do not see the group in your list, please check your "Spam" folder for the initial invitation or verify that you are signed into the correct Google account in your browser.
Step 2: Accessing the Course
Once you have been added to the Exhale... A Salon Assistant Growth Program Group, you have full access to our online classroom and coursework.
Follow the steps below to get started.
1. How to Access the Course
Since the course is restricted to our private group, you must be signed into your Google account to view the course and complete assignments..
- Course Dashboard: Exhale.... A Salon Assistant Growth Program Course
- You can also reach the course from the Google Classroom homepage. You should see a tile for the Exhale... A Salon Assistant Growth Program Course. Click on it to enter.
2. Navigating Your Coursework
Once you are inside the classroom, use these tabs at the top of the page to stay organized:
- Stream: Think of this as our "Announcements" board. Check here for updates or salon-wide notes.
- Classwork: All your lessons, videos, and quizzes are organized here by module. Click on a specific assignment or lesson to view the materials.
- People: Here you can see your fellow stylists and instructors.
- Grades: Check your completed assignments and grades here.
3. Completing Lessons
There are two ways to finish a task, depending on what is required:
1. "Mark as Done" - Use this for tasks like lessons and readings that don't require you to upload a file (like watching a video or reading a manual).
- Click on the assignment to expand it.
- Click View Instructions.
- On the right-hand side, click the "Mark as Done" button.
- Note: If you don't click this, the system will show your task as "Missing," even if you finished it!
2. "Turn In" - Use this for assignments when you need to submit a photo, a document, or an answer.
- Click on the assignment and select View Instructions.
- In the "Your Work" box on the right, click + Add or Create.
- Upload your file or link.
We use these status updates to track your journey toward your official Exhale Certification.
- Completion Tracking: Our mentor team reviews the "Classwork" dashboard weekly.
- Green Checkmarks: Your goal is to turn all icons from colored to grey (completed) to stay eligible for program milestones and promotions.
- Feedback: If a mentor leaves a comment on your assignment, you will receive an email notification. Please reply or make edits as requested!
